About UPSSSC
The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is the state-level recruitment body for Group-C posts in Uttar Pradesh. It was established to bring transparency and standardisation to subordinate-level government hiring in UP. The Commission conducts the PET (Preliminary Eligibility Test) as a gateway exam for all Group-C vacancies. Candidates who clear the PET are then eligible to appear in specific main examinations — eliminating the need to register separately for each exam from scratch. UPSSSC recruits for departments ranging from Agriculture and Revenue to Forest and Technical Services, making it one of the most important selection bodies for government job aspirants in the country’s most populous state. Their official portal, upsssc.gov.in, is the single window for all notifications, results, and admit cards.Important Dates
