Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

The required qualification differs by position level, but most technical posts follow this pattern:

• Project Engineer and above: BE/B.Tech with minimum 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA), or ME/M.Tech, or Ph.D. in a relevant ICT/Electronics domain. MCA or M.Sc. in relevant subjects is also accepted at many centres.
• Project Associate (Fresher): BE/B.Tech or PG in relevant domain with 50–60% as specified by the centre.
• Project Technician: ITI (NCVT trade certificate) with 6 years of experience, or a Diploma in Engineering with 1 year of experience, or a relevant graduation with 1 year of experience.
• Project Support Staff / Admin Roles: Graduation with 50% marks and at least 3 years of post-qualification experience. Certain posts may need CA, CMA, CS, LLB, or MBA.

✅ All qualifications must be from AICTE/UGC-approved or Central/State Government-recognised institutions. Degrees obtained through distance learning may be accepted — check the specific centre notification.

C-DAC Project Engineer Salary 2026 – What Will You Actually Earn?

The C-DAC salary structure for 2026 is consolidated — meaning it is a fixed monthly amount with no separate pay band or grade pay. Here is what candidates can typically expect:

Selection Process

C-DAC follows a three-stage selection process. There are no standard written exams with publicly announced dates — shortlisting is handled independently by each centre.

1. Initial Screening: All applications are reviewed based on academic records, declared qualifications, and work experience. C-DAC may raise the minimum eligibility bar if the applicant pool is significantly larger than available vacancies.
2. Written Test / Skill Test (if applicable): Depending on the number of screened-in candidates, a written or domain-specific skill test may be held. Shortlisted candidates will be informed by email only. No TA/DA is paid for attending this test.
3. Personal Interview: Candidates who clear the written test are called for an interview. The call letter is sent by email only. Receiving an interview invitation does not guarantee final selection. No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview either.

Who Should NOT Apply?
