Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a graduation degree from a recognised university or institute as on 1 April 2026.

Age Limit (as on 1 April 2026)

• Minimum: 20 years | Maximum: 28 years
• Date of birth between 2 April 1998 and 1 April 2006 (both dates inclusive)
• SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates get upper age relaxation as per Government of India rules

SBI Apprentice Stipend 2026

Selected apprentices receive a fixed monthly stipend of ₹15,000 throughout the one-year training. No other allowances or benefits are provided. This is a training programme — not a pay scale position.

Stage 1 – Online Written Exam (Objective Type)

• Negative marking: ¼ mark deducted per wrong answer
• Questions available in 13 regional languages + Hindi & English (except English section)
• Merit lists are prepared state-wise and category-wise
• SC/ST/OBC/PwBD get 5% relaxation in qualifying marks

Stage 2 – Local Language Test

Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the state they apply for. Those who studied the language at Class 10 or 12 are exempt.

Stage 3 – Medical Examination

Final engagement is subject to passing the bank’s medical fitness standards.
