Junior Scientific Assistant (FSL) — Post Codes 21/26 to 31/26: A Master’s degree in the relevant science subject is required. For example, JSA (Cyber Forensic) requires an M.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, or Cyber Security — or a B.E./B.Tech in CS/IT/ECE. JSA (Biology) requires an M.Sc. in Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Forensic Science (with Biology at B.Sc. level). Each specialisation has its own list — check the official notification PDF for the exact subjects.

Trained Graduate Teacher & Special Education Posts — Post Codes 41/26 to 44/26: Teaching posts require graduation with B.Ed. (or equivalent special education qualification), relevant subject expertise, and — for most posts — a valid CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) certificate and RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) registration where applicable. The TGT (Computer Science) post accepts BCA, B.Tech (CS/IT), or a graduation in any subject with a DOEACC ‘A’ Level Certificate.

IT Assistant Grade-A — Post Code 34/26: Class 12 pass from a recognised board, plus a typing speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour (approximately 26.67 WPM in English or Hindi). This is one of the most accessible posts in this advertisement.

Technical Posts (NDMC / Labour Dept) — Post Codes 35/26 to 38/26 & 45/26: ITI certificates or trade-specific National Trade Certificates are required. The Electrical Overseer post (45/26) needs a 3-year Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

How to Apply for DSSSB Recruitment 2026

Applying is straightforward, but read the instructions carefully — no corrections are allowed after submission.

  1. Visit the official DSSSB application portal: dsssbonline.nic.in
  2. Complete a one-time registration (your same user ID and password can be used for all future DSSSB exams).
  3. Log in and select your post code from Advertisement No. 03/2026.
  4. Fill in all personal, educational, and category details carefully.
  5. Pay the ₹100 fee through SBI e-Pay (if applicable — see exemptions above).
  6. Upload a recent colour passport-size photo (plain white/off-white background, clear face) and a clear scanned signature.
  7. Submit the application and download a printout for your records.
  8. Keep your documents ready for the e-dossier upload stage, which will be announced separately after the written exam.

💡 Pro Tip: Scan and save your passport photo (20–50 KB, JPG format) and signature (10–40 KB) before you start filling the form — it makes the process much smoother. Also note: only one application per post code is allowed. Multiple applications for the same post will result in cancellation of all applications.

Key Instructions You Must Know Before Applying

  • Only one registration per candidate on the DSSSB portal. Multiple registrations will get all your applications cancelled.
  • Do not apply for the same post code more than once — it leads to automatic disqualification.
  • No corrections or changes, including category change, are permitted after submission.
  • Once the exam is done, you’ll be asked to submit an e-dossier with educational certificates, caste certificates, experience proof, and other documents. Missing this upload window means cancellation with no appeal.
  • No electronic devices — mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth earbuds, calculators — are allowed in the examination hall.
  • Dress code: light, half-sleeved clothes; slippers or sandals with low heels. Shoes are not permitted in the exam hall.
  • Exam centres will be in Delhi/NCR and other states as decided by DSSSB. Check dsssb.delhi.gov.in regularly for updates and corrigenda.
